Snow Play!

We got a huge dump of snow last night (Yahoo!), so I sent a text to my preschool parents this morning and had them bring their kiddos in full snow gear.  We played outside for about an hour this morning.  The only reason we came inside was because the kiddos were hungry for snack.

We got about 16 inches of snow by our measurement this morning and the snow has continued to fall (yipee!).   I pulled out some buckets and shovels and off we went!

When we went inside we made snow ice cream (see recipe, previous post) and drank hot cocoa.  Such a wonderful way to end our week of studying snow!
