Learning Station - Name Rocket

Easy peasy, but oh so fun.  The older kiddos wrote the letters of their name and then glued them in order.  The younger kiddos I wrote their letters for them.

 

Learning Station - Robot Button Count

The kiddos chose dominoes to put on their robots.  Then they counted each robot's dots and replaced it's domino with a paper that they wrote the numeral on.

Cc Week

Snow Play - Mr. Adam's Fort - Yeah for snow!  Yeah for a fun fort!  Instead of a snow cave this year, my Mr. Adam built us a fort with a winding path.  The kiddos quite enjoyed it.

Cocoa and Cookies - Mmmm... Yummy and warming!

Cc Clothing - Cupcake hat and a kiddo pointed out: snow clothing and coats!

 

Cutting Practice - The kiddos LOVE cutting paper!

Chicka Chicka Boom Boom Tree - The kiddos loved marching the letters up the tree and having them fall back out.

Free Play - Cookies - Perfect for Cc week!

Camera - Oh wow!  These turned out so fun!  The kiddos were posing and saying, "Say cheeeeese!" and taking videos, selfies, showing each other their pictures.  It was fabulous!

 

Really simple and fast to make.  Using Dial soap boxes, a portion cup and a brad.  Oh, and a pom pom for the trigger button.  My new favorite activity.   The kiddos rummaged through the button box and had me glue on a few more function buttons.  So fun!

Science - Chocolate Chip Cookie Making - Oh yum!  The kiddos voted on turning our cookies blue.  And a kiddo brought lovely Valentine sprinkles for our cookies too!

Very Hungry Caterpillar Books - I found these stickers and then devised a book making opportunity.  We watched the video bit by bit as we created each page.  They turned out super cute.  
I wish I had gotten more pictures of the kiddo's art work...

 

Science - Cup Cake Baking - Because Cc is such a tasty letter, we whipped up a batch and popped them in the oven while we did circle time.


Caterpillars - During free play a couple of kiddos wanted to make pom pom caterpillars.


Pet Clouds - Ha!  LOVE these!  One of the boys kept saying, "They're so, so cute!"

We decided they needed a "house" if they were going to be pets.

Learning Station - Circle Counting

Always good to brush up on our counting skills.  These circle counters were donated to me, they're fabulous.
Ms. Sara:  "Wow.  You are a great counter!"
Kiddo:  "Yeah, it's because I've been counting for years."

Learning Station - Cup Catch

This was a bit silly.  The kiddos were to toss their pom pom to a friend's cup and then their friend was to toss it back.  It was basically pom poms everywhere and lots of giggles!

The kiddos punched circles and then formed the letter C.

 

Uu Week

Journal Time - Under the Table - Ha!  The kiddos thought Ms. Sara had lost her marbles when they came in this morning.  But nope.

Pin the Horn on the Unicorn - We closed our eyes and tried.  They kiddos did fairly well.  I found this in the dollar section at Target.

Painting and Printing - A couple of kiddos helped prep our art project.  They painted the bubble wrap and each kiddo made a rain print.

I masked the area with another piece of paper to preserve the space under the umbrella.

We added the umbrellas and let our rain dry....

Simple Unicorn - I had some basic shapes cut, the kiddos added the rest.

Hanging Out Under an Umbrella - Such a great fort for Uu week!

Umbrellas - I had each of the kiddos come with an umbrella on Friday.   We talked about umbrella safety...and fortunately no one got poked!  Wahoo!

Pine Cone Pick Up - One of the kiddos said, "Hey, it's not Pp week!"  It took me a moment.  Ha!  But we were picking them Up!!

Circle Time - Umbrellas - We had to be extra careful!  Ha!

On our map we found our home city, the Great Salt Lake, Zion National Park ...

 I told them the story of the seagulls and the crickets.

Picnic Snack Under an Umbrella - Oh so fun!  The kiddos gathered on a table cloth with their umbrellas and we ate our snack!
