Christmas Gifts

Gift Plates - I do these every year with the kiddos.  I buy the plates at the dollar store and I use paint pens from Michaels.  The kiddos draw, I write on the back then pop them in the oven for 30 minutes or so at 350.

I love it when they draw pictures of their family.  This year I made it on a plate!  Ha!

Canvas Picture - I LOVE to make these for my parents.  It's fun trying to capture a cute picture of their kiddo in the fall so I can create these ornaments.  Just a mini canvas from Wal-Mart, modge podge and a cute picture.

Sibling Gift - Pom Pom Friend - I found these poms on clearance from Michael's and snatched them up knowing I could use them for this project.  A nice simple gift for the kiddos to make for their families.
We tucked these little friends into tp tubes for easy wrapping!

Christmas Week 2

Our second week of Christmas work!

Lunch Sack Wreath - The kiddos decorated their wreaths...

Gifts and Wrapping - I love having the kiddos write their own tags and to help with wrapping.

Wood Slice Santa -  Painting today...

Snow - So fun to have snow to play in and helpers with shoveling.

Rockin' Santa - This Santa rocks, if you give him a chance.

Here's the toddler's...

Jingle Bell Necklace - Always a favorite activity!

Eraser House - Everyone needs an ornament house for their mini eraser friends! I made mini house from cutting down Dial soap boxes.  The kiddos LOVED these.  They colored the boxes and then invited their friends inside and hung them on the tree.

Glitter Eggs - I was looking for a use for all me extra Easter eggs when I found this great idea:

We "painted" our eggs with Modge Podge, popped them in a container of glitter and shook like crazy!  They came out fabulous!

Snow! - Shoveling - Oh so fun to have a snowy day!

Class Christmas Tree - Put on our first bit of decoration:  candy canes!

Nativity - Kids always love to play with Nativities.  This is our class set.  I found it last year at Target.

Super Cute Dinosaur Shirt!

Cookies For Santa - The kiddos were loving our mini class tree, another kiddo popped on the Santa hat, so we had to pull out the cookies and milk for him!

Winter Scene - These turned out fabulous!  The kiddos glue tissue squares all over a larger piece of white cardstock.  Once they dried, we cut them into triangles and added them to our winter scene.
I saw this idea on this blog:  Here!

Spaghetti Wreath - Day 1 - Oh!  This was ooey and super sticky!  We'll see if it works!  It's got to dry for a couple of days!  Ha!
