Pumpkin Seed Counting
To close out our week on pumpkins we counted seeds! I pulled out a couple of 100 charts and set my fours to work carefully placing one seed on each number square. We were all surprised at how many seeds we had... 320!
While working on this activity, I was quickly able to tell which of my kiddos need a bit of help with counting and number order and which kiddos had it down just fine. A nice, unplanned assessment.
