Gardens - Seed Journal

To continue our discussion on seeds, plants and gardens - I created a seed journal for each of the kiddos.

Just a simple 6 page booklet, using scrapbook paper as the cover.

We harvested some seeds from their source:  banana, tomato, apple, etc.   We also got some seeds from seed packets.

I wrote out the name of each fruit or vegetable on a white board for the kiddos to copy into their books.  They also drew a picture of the item.

It was great fun to look at the different seeds.  Their shape, color, and size all differ.  It's amazing how small some of the seeds are.
