I found small plastic dinosaurs and covered them in this rock play dough. It's the same stuff we used to create our fossil footprints. (See post here.)
I let my rock eggs dry for 4 days, but they were still a bit moist inside. Perhaps next time I'll stick them in the oven on a low temperature.
They turned out really cool! The kiddos had a blast cracking their dinosaur out of their rocky "shells".
