Dinosaurs - Fossil Footprints

We created dinosaur fossil footprints today.  I found a fabulous recipe for this sort of thing (see below).

You will need:

1 1/4 cups dirt

1 1/4 cups flour

3/4 cups salt

1/2 cup sand

~ 1 cup of water

Mix:

Stir the dry stuff together until nicely mixed.

Slowly stir in water (we mixed with our hands)

We patted into nice cookie shaped circles and then walked our small plastic dinosaurs through

Let dry for a few days, or you could probably put them in the oven, I haven't tried that yet.
