More with bats...

Tp Bats - These were fun to make.  I challenged the kiddos (my fours) to cut their own wings.  I drew the zig zag pattern for them to follow.  They did a great job.  The kiddos enjoyed hanging their bats.  One of my boys hung his from the pirate ship

Here are two of the bats.  Nice and simple, but cute!

Compare yourself to a bat - This was a fun activity to do.  We worked through it together, discussing as we went.

We compared such things as:  our wing span, number of fingers, how much food we can eat, our heart beat, how much we weigh.  It was pretty fun.

Halloween Sort - I found these mini holiday erasers in the dollar bins at Target.  It made for a fun sort.

Trash Bag Bat Wings - These are the best!

Find 13 gallon, black trash bags with draw strings.  Fold a bag longwise so you can cut a scalloped edge along the bottom of the bag (cutting off the bottom of the bag).  Then slit up the side seam and through the draw string at the top.  Then carefully pull the drawstrings together, this will be the tie around the kiddos neck.

Bean Bin - The kiddos have been enjoying playing in the beans all week.  Today I pulled out my kitchen scale and let them measure and weigh.

Orange Kool-Aid Favored Play Dough - Thursday was just a dough kind of day, so we enjoyed some time together playing with dough.  We added the extra Halloween rings to see what prints we could make.
