Learning Station - Measuring with Candy Canes
We
worked together on this one.
First we measured how tall each kiddo is
in candy canes: they were each 7 or 8 candy canes tall.
Then the
kiddos chose what to measure. I had them draw a picture of what they
were measuring first, then measure it and write the number on the page.

I think it would be easy for my kids to measure candy canes. Actually Phoenix pre-k also conducts these kinds of creative events once in a week and so my grown up sons are familiar to these funny activities kinds.
