Some More on Snow!

What wonderful snow we had today!  Perfect for our week on snow!  It was perfect timing that big fluffy flakes began to fall just as it was time for preschool!

Snowflake Viewing - I brought out a piece of black cardstock to catch snowflakes on.  It made for great viewing...

Glue Icicles - These were fun to create.  The kiddos poured on a ton of glue at the top of their paper.  Then we let the glue drip down a bit until fabulous icicles were formed.  Once the icicles were perfect, the kiddos sprinkled them with salt.

Fluffy Snow Dough - This was some crazy stuff.  It was two parts cornstarch to 1 part shaving cream.  The dough was super soft, but a bit crumbly.  It was oh so messy, but relatively easy to clean up.  Fun!

Snow Treasure! - The kiddos were so very excited to be shoveling and discover some of the colors we sprayed earlier in the week.

"Clean Dough" - We tried another dough recipe today.  This one was just baking soda and water.  It also had an interesting texture.
It was gooey, but dry.  It oozed, but it didn't like to be moved.  Curious.
