I love these rocks. They are smooth to the touch and very tactile to
work with. Today the kiddos were putting the number rocks in order.
I
worked with each kiddo one on one. It allowed me to see where they
were at with their numeracy skills. We worked on number symbols as well
as ordering them. We started with just 1-10, but those who were ready,
I challenged them with 1-20. Working into the teens, I showed
them that the number pattern repeats, it just has a 1 in front.
