More with I Spy

Fingerprint Books - Since we are spies in our preschool this week - discovering our classroom, we decided to work a bit with fingerprints today.  We looked at our fingers with magnifying glasses and found the lines and whorls on them.  Then we printed our fingerprints using  inkpads.

I made each of the kiddos their own book with a page for each class member's fingerprint.   (In theory) they would flip to a page and ask that friend to put their fingerprint.  This also helped with learning each other's names.

Laser Obstacle Course - We know that all spies must go through some lasers, so I set up some "lasers" (yarn) in the hallway for the kiddos to go through...

Once they had gone through it a few times, they decided they needed to add more and more lasers, so they got to work.

Here is their finished laser obstacle course, which is way better than the one I set up.  They were excited for me to leave it for the younger kid's class to try this afternoon.
