Vv Week Part 2 and Valentine's

Circle Time - With Valentine's Day fast approaching, we practiced drawing hearts today: draw a V and then put an m on top!  Taa Daa!

Clay Volcano - Day 2 Painting - We painted our volcanoes mountain color, we'll add the lava on Friday!  We also watched some videos showing volcanic eruptions and oozing lava!

Valentine Box Decorating - I cut these out of cereal boxes (we still had a bunch after box week).  We tried painting them, but even with two coats of paint they looked like this.  Next time I'll cover them with paper.
The kiddos enjoyed using lots of stickers, tape, glue, hearts ... to decorate their boxes.  Also, I printed their name of on pink paper for them to glue on the front.  In the chaos of our Valentine's parties, I neglected to get a final picture of the kids boxes.  But here is a pre-picture...

Valentine Heart Wreath - To help decorate your home!  The kiddos enjoyed gluing all sorts of festive items on their heart wreaths!

Delivering Valentines - I love how excited the kiddos get about this!

Dot Hearts -  This was fun to try today!  And we always enjoy working with the bingo paints.
I saw this idea on this blog:  Here!

Ms. Sara's Valentine's - This is what I put together for the kiddos this year...
 Some goodies and fun items...

View Master - The kiddos found the view master today and gave it a try!  I love it when old toys are just as fabulous now as they were then!  And it's perfect for Vv week!

Moving Candy Hearts - Toddlers - This cutie spent quite a while moving hearts with the truck.

Love Trucks - Toddlers - The kiddos put their truck together and added hearts to it.

Clay Volcanoes - Day 3 - Lava! - The kiddos added pipe cleaner lava to their fabulous volcano sculptures.  A few kiddos painted water to make their volcano an island.

Lava Cupcakes - I TOTALLY forgot we did these for Ll week in the fall!  Ha!  Silly Ms. Sara!

Backyard - Yeah for sunshine!  It was melty and muddy and we found LOTS of deer tracks and deer poo!
