Kk Week

Welcome to our week with kicking letter Kk!

Kk is for Kiss! - Yum - The kiddos enjoyed munching a kiss or two, and then they made a big one!
Youngsters...

Ketchup - A lovely Kk word for snack.  We made tater tots to go with it.

Experiment - There was a chunk of ice from the pulley bucket.  The kiddos are trying an experiment.  They want to see if they bury the ice in dirt if it will melt or not.  We'll see on Wednesday.

Melty Yard - Checking out the slippery patches of snow...
Poor melty snow cave!
Two days later ... The cave now has a window, a backdoor and a sun roof!

Pine Cone Pick Up - Thanks kiddos!  With the snow melting away, we're finding all sorts of things on the lawn.  This pine cone looked like the letter J!

Koalas - Such cute critters!  We learned a few facts about these marsupials and watched some videos of them while we made our own.

Snack - Kiwis - Some kiddos had tasted these before and some were brave to taste them for the first time.  Yummers!

Backyard - Sooooo great to get outside!  We even saw a smidge of blue sky!  We tossed the rest of the plans out the window, so to say, and played outside because it is so un-seasonally warm!

Mud!
We were excited to see some of our bulbs peeking out of the ground!
We added snow to our mud table...

Canning Rings - I was given a donation ...  Hmm... We should be able to find fun things to do with these!

Cars - Toddlers - One kiddo was really enjoying containing the cars...

The Demise of the Snow Cave - Wow, a week of un- seasonally warm weather wiped out our snow cave!  So sad!  Today the kiddos enjoyed demolishing what was left and shoveling it around a bit.
