Ocean - Salt Water

Science experiment - Ocean water  - I asked the kiddos to tell me what they knew about ocean water.  Grant told me it was blue, Sydney agreed.  I asked them if they had ever accidentally tasted ocean water (yuck!).  Grant said he had and it tasted like dirt.  Ha ha.  I asked them about salt - aha!  The light went on and they began to tell me all about the salty ocean water.  We decided to make some of our own.


Ocean water recipe
1 cup HOT water
1/4 cup salt

Stir it until it dissolves, then add sea life!
