Ww Week

Welcome to our wonderful, wacky Ww Week!  This is Ms. Sara's favorite letter!

Ww Clothing! - One kiddo wore her Wonder Woman pajamas!  Perfect!

Free Play - Boxes -

Weather Chart - Now the kiddos can mark the weather at home!

Walk - What a wonderful day for a walk!  We collected nature treasures as we walked.  One favorite find was a Y stick!

W Clothing - Watermelon - A kiddo had on her fabulous watermelon shirt today!  Perfect!

Circle Time - Wink - Ha!  Winks can be tricky!  We also tried whistling and discovered all the kiddos are better whistlers than Ms. Sara!

Worm Habitats - First we talked about where worms live, then the kiddos made a worm buddy.  We also swapped worm stories.  Once their buddy was beaded, they created their habitat.

One kiddo added ladybug friends for his worm...

Another kiddo added a sister and grandpa (from our "Diary of a Worm" book) ....

I originally found this idea on this blog:  Here!

Chalk - Worms - Ha!  We had a worm with arms and a princess worm ...

Snack - Waffles - First we made the batter, dyed it green (for St. Patty's), cooked
them and then ATE THEM!  YUM!

Whipped Cream - As we were enjoying our waffles when we realized that whipped cream is another yummy Ww word!  So of course everyone needed a squirt on their finger!

Leprechaun Trap/Home - In preparation for Friday (St. Patty's Day) the kiddos prepped a trap for our classroom leprechaun.  But a few kiddos decided they didn't want to trap him, instead they wanted to make him a home.  Cool beans!

Backyard - Sunshine! - The kiddos were looking for Leprechaun tracks...

Finishing Our Watermelons - Toddlers - The kiddos painted their plates red, then added the green for the rind and a few seeds.  They turned out cute!

Puzzles - Toddlers - Teamwork!  These little ones are figuring it out!
