Learning Station - Egg Catapult

So fun!  The kiddos launched eggs into buckets.  It took them a few tries to get the hang of it and then eggs were soaring everywhere!  (It was so much fun we had to make catapults to take home!!  Enjoy!)

Learning Station - Karate Chop Kk

The kiddos made the letter K with play dough, then they would KARATE CHOP it!  You've got to yell it, much more fun that way!

Learning Station - Airplane Folding

I taught the kiddos how to fold a simple airplane.  A couple kiddos showed me how they fold airplanes.  Cool!  The kiddos flew their airplanes together to see how far they could get them.

The toddlers enjoyed simply throwing paper airplanes.

Learning Station - Penny Pick Up - Astronauts

This was HARD!  The kiddos put on Mr. Adam's BIG snow gloves to pretend they were astronauts and then they tried to pick up pennies!  It was fun to see the strategies they came up with and how they helped each other.

Learning Station - Tube Block Drop - Todders

This is a FAVORITE!  The kiddos enjoyed playing with it the whole class time. It's also a great way to talk about colors as they drop each block.

Learning Station - Zoo Animal Pick Up - Toddlers

The kiddos LOVED this.  They played with it through all of class!  Using tongs, the kiddos moved the animals from the bowl to the container, dumped it out and did it again.

Learning Station - Clothes Pin Card Count

Lots of wonderful Cc's in there!  The kiddos clipped as many clothes pins at the number on the card.  Great fine motor work and counting and number recognition.

Learning Station - Label L

The kiddos used mailing labels to create the letter L!
Ha.  When they had made an L and checked it off with Ms. Sara, then they could use as many labels as they wanted to make a label picture.

Learning Station - Ghost Bean Count - And Scooping

The kiddos showed off their counting skills this morning.  This is a preschool favorite!

For the younger kiddos I set out bowls and containers to scoop and fill.  Actually, the older kiddos greatly enjoyed this activity as well.

Learning Station - Hammering "Nails"

Great hand-eye coordination.  I found these colorful, headless matches on Amazon.  The kiddos LOVED hammering them in to the Styrofoam.

Learning Station - Octopus Count

The kiddos first had to put their octopus together (they could use staplers or glue and they needed the correct number of arms) then they added suckers to the arms.
