Learning Station - Cup Stomp

In cleaning out my cupboards I found:  CUPS!  I wrote the letters and some sight words and names on the cups.
Then I sent each kiddo out with an errand to find a particular cup and stomp it!  A bit of mayhem and lots of fun.

This was great, accept the water was a bit chilly.   The kiddos fished out a letter and found it's match on the driveway.
This kiddo quite enjoyed making whirlpools.

Learning Station - Abc Knock Down

The kiddos tried to knock down a letter of the alphabet with a ball.  They (mostly) told me the letter name and or sound when they did so.

Learning Station - Kicking - Kk

The kiddos drew the letter K (straight line down, find the belly button and then kick one leg up and one leg down) then they could kick the chair over!  So very fun and a bit crazy!!!

Learning Station - Karate Chop Kk

The kiddos made the letter K with play dough, then they would KARATE CHOP it!  You've got to yell it, much more fun that way!

Learning Station - Binocular Hunt

The kiddos used their binoculars to look for hidden letters.  They had so much fun they wanted to do it again and again.  Which was dandy until kiddos forgot where they hid letters.  Ha!  We're still looking for the letter D.  ...  It'll turn up eventually.

The younger kiddos hunted for colors.  They picked a paint sample color off the table and then looked around the room for that color.

Learning Station - Gingy Case Match

The kiddos worked together to match all the upper case letters to their lower case friends.

These are just craft foam gingys that I got on clearance, puzzle cut them in half and wrote the letters with Sharpie.
I love that this kiddo decided to spell his name!

Outdoor Learning Station - Abc Fire

The kiddos needed to put out the "fire" on each of the letters.  They told me the name (and sometimes the sound) of each letter as they worked.
