The kiddos really enjoyed these today. I left them up all of class
time. Both activities are great for fine motor, hand-eye coordination
and color practice.
The Holey Pom Pom activity was pushing pom poms through holes in a
yogurt container.
The Block Drop was dropping blocks through a paper
towel roll tube.

Pop the pom poms!
We found ourselves an accidental game today that I'm sure is going to be
a favorite. We were counting pom poms into bowls. Well, when the
bowls were full one of us popped the bowl up and the pom poms rained
down on us. It was great! (Confession: It was I. I popped the bowl.
It must have been my inner child) And thus the game of "Pop the pom poms" was invented! We played over and over and over and .... we enjoyed it immensley!
