The kiddos matches upper case and lower case letters. A bit tricky, but they worked together to do!

Learning Station - Lego Case Match
This was tricky for the kiddos. It really worked their brains and took
some time. But they each got it! We'll definitely be repeating this
station.
On the upper case letter Lego, I put a hint on the side: the lower case letter. So they knew what to look for. I purposely didn’t match the colors.

Learning Station - Lego Color Match - Toddlers
The kiddos helped me sort the Legos in their color baskets. All
the kiddos gathered around. Some would take the Legos from me and put
them in the correct basket. Some kiddos would just point where the Lego
should go and others just told me the color. So it all worked out
great working in a group. Ha!

Learning Station - Lego Words
The kiddos are getting to be pros at the _at family. Today they
created these words with Legos, then wrote the beginning letter.
A couple of the kiddos wrote the whole word! Yahoo! Even better!

Learning Station - Pattern Making with Duplos
For
today's learning station we were working with pattern making. I put
together 3 different patterns using Duplo blocks. The idea was that the
kiddos would mimic my patterns by creating their own matching tower.
But instead they each (separately) added onto my pattern. Ha. That was
totally fine, it was still pattern practice.

Legos!
There is so much fun and learning to be had with Legos, I just love them!
Today we created a nice long train filled with passengers. There is great problem solving and hand eye coordination in this play. You can also work with colors and shapes, not to mention good 'ole fashioned imaginary play!
