Welcome to our week of Halloween fun!
I dug through the craft box to find odds and ends for making the houses spooky. The dyed pasta and spider rings were a hit, as well as the erasers from Target.
Glue Ghost Necklaces - This is an experiment. We'll see how they work. In theory our little ghosties just need to dry for a few days, then they'll peel off the wax paper and we can make them into spooky necklaces. ... We shall see....
Googley eyes may have been a better choice, but the kiddos always love buttons.
Bread Tag Monsters - Spooky friends...
5 Little Pumpkins Sitting on a Gate - Youngsters - The three year old class LOVES this rhyme, so I put these together this morning for them.
The kiddos added a moon and spooky stickers. Then we sang the rhyme over and over so they could act it out with their gates.
Journal Time - These kiddos just LOVE putting Halloween stuff in their journals.
Yahoo for pumpkin day! We've been waiting all month for this day!
Pumpkin Time! - We went out front to pick out our pumpkins. Then we carried them (with big muscles) to the backyard.
Later I pulled out our mini pumpkins for washing while we were playing in the backyard.
Pumpkin Decorating - We used various mediums: Sharpies, tatoos, tape ...
Raking Leaves - We've been planning this ever since we noticed the big tree in the backyard was loosing it's leaves in the wind.
Cotton Ball Ghosts - Toddlers - Cute and easy. The kiddos always like working with cotton balls, unless they have gluey fingers!
Train Track Oo - Pretty fabulous for a 2 year old Spiderman!
Mummified Kiddos - These turned out super cute! Of course the kiddos thought I was turning them into mommies instead of mummies .... ha!
Pumpkin Decorating - Tissue Paper - Toddlers - This is my new favorite decorating style for littles!
Leaf Fun - Toddlers -
The water table quickly became full of soggy leaves!
