The kiddos got to create their own patterns using these fabulous Easter foam stickers I found in the dollar spot at Target.

Learning Station - Egg Opening - Toddlers
The kiddos certainly do LOVE to open and play with Easter eggs (great
fine motor work). Today I put goldfish and marshmallows in our eggs for
the kiddos to discover.

Learning Station - Part 1 - Egg Alphabet Hunt
The kiddos hid, then found the eggs for our learning station (3
times). Inside each egg was an alphabet letter. So we had to make sure
and find them all.

Part 2 - Alphabet Stamping - The kiddos found the letter stamp in each egg, found it's match on their paper and then stamped it.
While
stamping we realized we had missed an egg! Oh no! Back outside to
find it. It was tricky! We also found some deer fur! Must be spring!

Qq Week and Easter
Welcome to a quirky Qq week! This is a short week for us, because we have spring break.
Journal Time - Qq - quarter rubbing, Q - Tip ...

Circle Time - Quilt - We talked about what a quilt is and how it is put together.

Q -Tip Art - The kiddos tried their hand at building structures with the Q-tips. That took a bit more patience then they had, so then they turned to Q-tip art.
Youngsters art...
Chick in a Egg - The kiddos chose out the pieces to create their baby chick, and I glued them together for them with the hot glue. I saw this idea on this blog: Here.

Surprise Egg! - The kiddos painted an Easter egg, then we hid a bunny on the inside! Surprise! I saw this idea on this blog: Here.

Egg Hunt - The kiddos hid a bunch of eggs, then spread out to find them. Ha! We were still finding them the rest of class time.

Art Box - The kiddos always love scrounging in the art box...

Learning Station - Open and Shut - Eggs - Toddlers
The kiddos were delighted to play with plastic eggs. They were extra
excited when they realized there was a goldfish or two in each egg!
Bonus!
Love those little fingers hard at work!

Learning Station - Easter Alphabet Hunt
In the snow! Brrr! We were surprised with some spring snow yesterday! The kiddos hunted for the alphabet. Letters were written on milk jug lids.

Once we got inside and warmed up a bit and the snow had melted off our letters it was time to put them in order. The kiddos could work as a team or by them self.

Friday - Toddlers - Easter
Bubbles - There was a light breeze this morning when the kiddos came. They loved blowing bubbles and watching them swirl away.
Learning Station - Opening and Shutting Eggs - I pulled out this large bucket of eggs for the kiddos to enjoy.
Baby Chick - I traced the kiddos hands for wings on their chick, then they glued all the pieces together and added the eyes.
Dr. Kit - Always a favorite. Today the sick patients were a baby doll and a froggy.
