Pp Week

Welcome to our Pretty fabulous Pp week!

Letter Pp Clothing - The kiddos didn't even know we were learning about the letter Pp this week and look at all the fabulous Pp items...

 

 

Pencil Sharpener - The kiddos each got a brand new pencil to work in their journal with.  But first they needed to sharpen it.

 

Popcorn Art - The kiddos stuffed their bag with "popcorn" and we added some "butter" to it.  Looks tasty!

Science - Popcorn - We counted out 25 kernels of popcorn and then hypothesized on how much more space 25 popped kernels will look like...

 Wow!  Popped corn takes up lots more space!

Backyard - Potion Making - The kiddos LOVE  to make potions, and it's perfect for Pp week!

Anytime I receive cut flowers, I dry them instead of throwing them out.  Perfect for potion ingredients.

Science - Pizza Dough - We hopped right inside today so we could make our pizza dough and get it rising while we started the day.  

Science - Pizza Making - The kiddos rolled out their dough, added sauce and their desired toppings...

Yummers!

Pizza Painting - The kiddos painted the sauce on their crafty pizzas.  We sprinkled a bit of oregano in our paint to help it smell like pizza.

Pizza Ingredient Prep - The kiddos were thrilled to help prep our paper pizza ingredients.

Cardboard Pizzas - The kiddos added toppings to their yummy pretend pizza.

Cup Parachutes - These turned out so fun!  I picked this version with the cup so the kiddos could try adding different items to the cup to see if their parachute falls faster or not.

The kiddos ran up and down the stairs numerous times.  I hope you enjoy these at home too!  I got the idea for these parachutes from this blog:  Here!

 

Army Men - This little guy loved lining the men up along the edge of the shelf.

Puffy Pillows - The kiddos started sewing these fabulously fluffy pillows...we'll finish them up on Friday.

We stuffed them... 

 And stitched them...

 Taa daa!  A puffy pillow!

Pony Play Mat - Wahoo!  I've been wanting to get this made for a while and I got it done just in time for the end of Pp week.  Ha!

Power Outage - Wow!  Perfect for Pp week!  The preschool's power went out and stayed out the rest of class time.  We pulled out a lantern to use in the restroom and to help us find toys.  But fortunately we have big windows that gave us a lot of light.

Glow Bracelets - Perfect for a dark preschool day!

Awesome glow bracelets in the hair!

Snack - Popsicles - We were going to make pancakes, but with no power we had to settle with these icy treats.  Brrr!
