Today's learning station:
Today the kiddos were to roll our fabulous new Valentine's dice (dollar bin at Target) and count the hearts. Then stack that many blocks. Counting all the time.
Once they stacked the blocks successfully, they got to knock them over and roll the dice again, starting the process over.
They flip the timer over when they first start the station. They need to stay at the station at least the length of the timer. They may stay longer if they would like.
My fours did this today and really enjoyed it. Great counting practice, one to one counting, and hand-eye coordination with the stacking.
