Candy Corn Counting

We started off today with a particularly tasty learning center.  The candy corn count.  The kiddos had to roll the dice, count up the dots, and then eat the candy corn on the corresponding number.  Nice, tasty counting!  It was quite a hit with my fours today.  Some of them are still learning to recognize numbers, so first they carefully counted the dots.  Then if they weren't sure what the number looked like, they could simply count the candy corn spots.  It worked out nicely.
