Uu Week

This week is our very last letter of the alphabet for the school year!  We are doing the letter Uu!  For Unbelievable!

Uu Clothing - This is going to be trickier this week... I was wearing my University of Utah shirt and a kiddo had her unicorn backpack!

 

Chalk - Oh my!  It was so warm we stayed outside and drew for nearly an hour!  Also, the kiddos asked for new chalk and I told them once we used all the old chalk up, I would get out new chalk.  So they went to town! 

We created an under the sea picture because of the letter Uu!

Ha!  It looks like this shark is sneaking up on this kiddo to nibble on her!

 

 

 

Journal Time - Upside Down! - Whaaat?!  Some kiddos wrote upside down, some flipped them back over.  Ha!  Either way.

Paper Plate Unicorns -

Star Wars - Tomorrow is May the 4th (as in "May the force be with you").  Ms. Sara tried to draw R2D2...  I need some more practice.

Cool R2D2 backpack with our light sabers and the boys drew light sabers on the 4th. 

Light Sabers - Oh so fun!  After snack we wacked each other a bit then we headed outside.  These were so fun!

Snack - Umbrella Straws - I was so excited to find these at the Dollar Store!  They are perfect for Uu week!  And the kiddos loved them too!

Under the Sea - Youngsters - The kiddos drew ocean scenes ... Then we took our pictures outside to paint the ocean on them...

Then we painted some other things ... dinosaurs, pine cones, the sidewalk ...


Journal Time - Under - Ha!  The kiddos were surprised to find their journals all set up under the table!  Silly Ms. Sara!

 
Castles and Unicorns - We made castles for our mini unicorns out of Dial soap boxes.  Pretty slick...

Outside Fun - The weather is finally turning warm!  Sunshine!  Mud!
